Our activities and accommodation are completely customisable so you can choose to do as few or as many activities as you would like on an activities only package without staying over.

There are no minimum or maximum number of activities that you can take part it, or nights that you can stay. We will provide you with a price based on the number of activities you would like to do and nights that you would like to stay so you’ll never end up paying for activities that you don’t want to do.

The nearest pubs and restaurants are a short distance away in one of the local villages which our team will be happy to advise you about and provide you with directions.

Many of our activities are suitable for children although instructed activities require a minimum age of 8 years old and canoe hire requires a minimum age of 2 years old with adult supervision. Please advise us of their age and we will be able to inform you of any activities which may not be suitable for them.

Q: Do I have to buy a train ticket?
A: The train ticket and all transportation from Dolygaer are included in the cost.
Q: What do I need to bring?
A: For the walk: A spare fleece, or jumper, 1 litre of water, and snacks. Hat, gloves. (Sun hat in the summer, Woolly hat any other time as it can be quite cold on the hills and gloves all year round). If you own your own waterproofs our qualified instructors will check that the seams are taped and suitable for use in the mountain environment (Waterproofs can be borrowed from the centre). Sun cream is also an essential if you are spending all day out on the hill.
For the paddling: Change of clothes, towel, and a drink.
Q: What do I need to wear?
A: For the walk: Warm stretchy clothing, jogging bottoms, (man-made fibres) such as thermal tops, football tops and fleeces. A good pair of thick socks.
For the paddling: A swim costume or underwear under the wetsuit, a pair of trainers with a good sole on and a pair of shorts to wear over the top of the wetsuit. All other kit is provided. In summer months, shorts and a t-shirt may be the best for canoeing as you don’t get too hot.
Q: What ages are allowed?
A: All ages are allowed to join us, though children under 6 might not be able to do the paddling on the reservoir as they need to fit into our buoyancy aids.

Our corporate packages are available from as little as £59.50 per person per challenge day and this includes all activities, catering, equipment and onsite transport. For a team building weekend residential stay, prices are from £205.00 per person. All prices are dependant on the number of clients attending.

Yes, we require a 20% deposit upon booking and full payment 30 days before your visit to us.

No, everything is included. We like to ensure that booking with us from start to finish is a smooth and hassle free experience. All activities, catering, equipment and onsite transport is included and if you are looking to book an adventure weekend, our onsite newly refurbished 3/4 star accommodation is included too.

Yes we do, our newly refurbished chalet includes 2 fully accessible DDA compliant rooms. We can also offer specialist courses for those with special needs.

Our instructors are great at challenging every individual to ensure everyone comes away feeling empowered and accomplished.

Health and safety is our number one priority and we are a fully licensed AALA activity centre. All of our instructors hold all applicable NGB qualifications in each of the fields they teach, along with public and employers liability insurance, first aid and they are all DBS checked.

We have a variety of newly refurbished onsite accommodation choices sleeping up to 76 clients. We also have further accommodation choices nearby and onsite camping for 100+. The Centre is self-contained and can be used exclusively for your corporate event if required.

In addition to our accommodation options, there is also a wide range of facilities available at the site for all clients to use. We have flexible space that can be adapted for meeting rooms, a large dining area that can seat up to 40 and adjoins the café and lounge area providing space for 20 – 30 to relax in between activities.
There is also a dedicated learning centre for meetings and course debrief sessions and full laundry facilities, including kit drying room. A separate shower block ensures clients are fresh and clean before going back to rooms to relax.

We are happy to speak with you at all times but welcome you to visit us, meet the team and sample some of our activities. This will put your mind at ease and enable you to feel confident in recommending us to your business and colleagues.

Residential trips with us start from as little as £24 per child per day, depending on the number of days and pupils attending. We are happy to provide a bespoke quotation based on your numbers and requirements.

Of course we do! For every 11 students places you book with us, we will give you 1 staff member free and half price on all additional staff members.

No everything is included, pupils can bring a small amount of pocket money if they want to for souvenirs to take home to help remember the trip.

It depends on the numbers of staff and pupils visiting, they may be required to share a room with other staff members. We do have a variety of accommodation choices enabling staff to sleep in the same building as students or our 4 star luxury cottage for staff to use. This includes a separate lounge, kitchen area, shower room, toilet and drying room.
