🕘 Time: 9.15am – 4.15pm each day

Optional Transport (£5 per day)
Optional transport is available from Brecon Mountain Railway Station Car Park, with:

Transport must be selected at the time of booking and is charged at £5 per child, per day.

Open to children aged 8–16, the programme encourages confidence, resilience and social skills while giving children the chance to try new activities, make friends and enjoy the outdoors.

What should my child wear?
Children should wear comfortable outdoor clothing suitable for active play and the weather. We recommend:

Warm layers (fleece or jumper)

Waterproof jacket and trousers

Comfortable trainers or walking boots (old trainers for water activities)

Hat and gloves in colder weather
All specialist safety equipment is provided.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Activities run in most weather conditions, and sessions are adapted if needed to ensure safety and enjoyment. In the event of extreme weather, activities may be modified or replaced with suitable alternatives. Please ensure your child comes prepared for wet, cold or changeable conditions.
Will my child get cold or wet?
Some activities may involve water or wet conditions. We manage this carefully and keep children moving to stay warm. Bringing spare clothes and warm layers is strongly advised.
Do children need prior experience?
No experience is required. All activities are fully instructed and supervised by our qualified outdoor instructors, with activities tailored to suit different confidence levels.
Is food provided?
Children must bring:

What safety measures are in place?
All sessions are led by experienced, qualified instructors and follow strict safety procedures. Appropriate risk assessments are in place, and all specialist equipment is provided and checked regularly.
What age group is the programme for?
The programme is suitable for children aged 8–16 years. Groups are managed to ensure age-appropriate challenges and a supportive environment.
Can my child attend just one day?
Yes – days can be booked individually, subject to availability.

Yes. Optional transport is available during the February half term at £5 per child, per day from Brecon Mountain Railway Station Car Park, with:
